This  piece is incredibly valuable for all writers. You can find it online <a href=\"http:\/\/www.h-ngm-n.com\/storage\/didion%20-%20on%20keeping%20a%20notebook.pdf\" title=\"Joan Didion &quot;On Keeping a Notebook&quot;\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I have been keeping a journal since my college years, and still to this day. Here are some images of my current journal, a Moleskine.
